There is no doubt that the development of complications during reconstructive plastic surgery can affect the quality of life of patients, despite attempts to eliminate them. Therefore, a more detailed study of the nature, causes, and ways to eliminate complications will allow oncologists and plastic surgeons to correctly assess the disadvantages and advantages of various methods of surgical treatment of breast cancer, and, accordingly, to conduct a personalized approach when choosing the volume of surgical treatment. Based on the analyzed world and domestic literature, it was found that the choice of breast reconstruction technique should be determined separately for each clinical case. The risks, advantages and disadvantages of each technique must be taken into account and considered for each individual clinical situation.</p></abstract><trans-abstract xml:lang="ru"><p><bold>   Цель работы</bold> – провести обзор современной литературы, посвященной изучению и оценке хирургических осложнений после реконструктивно-пластических операций у больных раком молочной железы.</p><p>   Поиск соответствующих источников был осуществлен в системах PubMed, Cochrane Library, E-library, изучены публикации за период с 2013 по 2022 г., 38 из которых были использованы для написания данного обзора. Не вызывает сомнений тот факт, что развитие осложнений при реконструктивно-пластических операциях может влиять на качество жизни пациенток, несмотря на попытки по устранению осложнений. Поэтому более детальное изучение характера, причин, способов устранения осложнений позволит хирургам-онкологам, пластическим хирургам правильно оценивать недостатки и преимущества различных методик хирургического лечения рака молочной железы и, соответственно, проводить персонализированный подход при выборе объема хирургического лечения. На основании проанализированной зарубежной и отечественной литературы установлено, что выбор методики реконструкции молочной железы должен определяться отдельно для каждого клинического случая.
