We report a case of Peitz–Jeghers syndrome associated with breast cancer in young women in two generations (mother and daughter). Despite specific clinical manifestations (multiple hamartomatous polyps developing in childhood and ink-black mucous pigmentation in the woman and her immediate relatives), Peitz–Jeghers syndrome was diagnosed only after breast cancer development and consultation with oncologists. This confirms the need for informing both oncologists and general practitioners about this genetic disorder.</p>
Несмотря на характерную клиническую картину (множественные гамартомные полипы с манифестацией в детском возрасте и наличие кожно-слизистой пигментации у самой женщины и ее ближайших родственников), диагноз генетического заболевания был установлен только при обращении к онкологам с возникшим раком молочной железы, что подтверждает необходимость популяризации информации о данной генетической проблеме как среди онкологов, так и среди врачей общей практики.</p></trans-abstract><kwd-group xml:lang="en"><kwd>Peitz–Jeghers syndrome</kwd><kwd>breast cancer</kwd><kwd>hamartomatous polyps</kwd><kwd>STK11 gene mutations</kwd><kwd>ink-black mucous pigmentation (lentigo)</kwd></kwd-group><kwd-group xml:lang="ru"><kwd>синдром Пейтца–Йегерса</kwd><kwd>рак молочной железы</kwd><kwd>гамартомные полипы</kwd><kwd>мутация гена STK11</kwd><kwd>«чернильная» кожно-слизистая пигментация (лентиго)</kwd></kwd-group><funding-group><funding-statement xml:lang="en">The work was performed without external funding.</funding-statement><funding-statement xml:lang="ru">Работа выполнена без спонсорской поддержки.</funding-statement></funding-group></article-meta></front><body></body><back><ref-list><ref id="B1"><label>1.</label><mixed-citation>Tacheci I., Kopacova M., Bures J.
