It is suggested that the lack of EGFR gene amplification might serve as a factor of good prognosis. TOP IIα gene amplification usually occurs in the tumors responsive to chemotherapy including anthracycline drugs. The altered status of the above genes should be interpreted in the context of aneusomy of chromosomes 7 and 17, on which they are located. No association was found between the pattern of EGFR and TOP IIα gene abnormalities and the basaloid phenotype of BC.</p></abstract><trans-abstract xml:lang="ru"><p>Приведены результаты изучения генов рецептора эпидермального фактора роста (EGFR) и топоизомеразы IIα (ТОП IIα) у больных тройным негативным раком молочной железы (РМЖ). Выдвинуто предположение о том, что отсутствие амплификации гена EGFR может служить фактором благоприятного прогноза. Амплификация гена ТОП IIα обычно встречается в опухолях, проявляющих чувствительность к химиотерапии с включением препаратов антрациклинового ряда. Изменение статуса указанных генов следует интерпретировать в контексте анеусомии хромосом 7 и 17, на которых они расположены.
