The literature has been analyzed to find answers to the following questions: how to make an early diagnosis of ovarian cancer and to minimize the treatment in order to avoid complica- tions and toxicity without any harm to health and to increase therapeutic effectiveness. The use of the current noninvasive techniques (positron emission tomography, magnetic resonance imaging) is shown to considerably improve the diagnostic estimation of the extent of a tumor. This fact and deeper knowledge of prognostic factors will allow us to optimize and individualize treatment.</p></abstract><trans-abstract xml:lang="ru"><p>Остается спорным вопрос о соответствующей тактике лечения ранней стадии рака яичников. В работе проанализированы литературные данные, с тем чтобы найти ответы на следующие вопросы: как провести раннюю диагностику рака яичников и снизить до минимума воздействие терапии, чтобы предотвратить развитие осложнений и токсичность лечения, не нанося вреда здоровью и повысить эффективность лечения. Показано, что применение современных неинвазивных методов исследования (позитронной эмиссионной томографии, магнитной резонансной томографии) существенно улучшает диагностические возможности оценки распространения опухоли.
