The SMAD2 and SMAD4 genes were found to suppress COX-2 gene expression in the estrogen receptor-positive BC cells and to be linked to their metastatic potential. Smad4 and Smad2 apparently suppress COX-2 mRNA and protein synthesis and Smad7 is their antagonist and stimulates COX-2 formation. Smad2, Smad4, Smad7 proteins may be regarded as new potential targets for targeted BC therapy.</p>
Белки SMAD2, SMAD4, SMAD7 можно рассматривать в качестве новых потенциальных мишеней для тар- гетной терапии РМЖ.</p></trans-abstract><kwd-group xml:lang="en"><kwd>breast cancer</kwd><kwd>cyclooxygenase-2 (COX-2)</kwd><kwd>TGF-β1/SMAD signaling pathway</kwd><kwd>SMAD2</kwd><kwd>SMAD4</kwd><kwd>and SMAD7 genes</kwd><kwd>Smad4</kwd><kwd>Smad2</kwd><kwd>and Smad7 proteins</kwd><kwd>phosphorylated Smad2</kwd><kwd>inhibitors of COX-2</kwd><kwd>PGE2</kwd><kwd>human breast cancer cell lines MCF-7</kwd><kwd>BT-474</kwd><kwd>and ZR- 75-1</kwd><kwd>targets f</kwd></kwd-group><kwd-group xml:lang="ru"><kwd>рак молочной железы</kwd><kwd>СOX-2</kwd><kwd>сигнальный путь TGF-β1/SMAD</kwd><kwd>гены и белки SMAD2</kwd><kwd>SMAD4</kwd><kwd>SMAD7</kwd><kwd>фосфори- лированная форма белка SMAD2</kwd><kwd>ингибиторы COX-2</kwd><kwd>PGE2</kwd><kwd>линии опухолевых клеток молочной железы человека MCF-7</kwd><kwd>BT-474</kwd><kwd>ZR-75-1</kwd><kwd>мишени для таргетной терапии</kwd></kwd-group><funding-group/></article-meta></front><body></body><back><ref-list><ref id="B1"><label>1.</label><citation-alternatives><mixed-citation xml:lang="en">1.
