The range of adverse effects makes long-term treatment of these patients necessary not only to relieve the symptoms, but also to prevent possible problems, such as sexual dysfunction, postcoital bleeding, and recurrent urinary tract infections. Considering the pathogenesis of vulvovaginal atrophy associated with many unpleasant symptoms, such as dryness, burning, and dyspareunia resultedfrom low levels of estrogen, we have provided a rationale for topical application of Flamen® gel with subsequent restoration of vaginal pH. Effective relief of pain syndrome, which usually manifested itself with burning, itching, swelling, and hyperemia of the vaginal vestibule and perineal tissues, ensured maximum compliance during treatment and allowed the achievement of not only clinical, but also pathogenetic effect.</p>
Хорошее купирование болевого синдрома, обычно проявляющегося в виде жжения, зуда, отечности, гиперемии преддверия влагалища и тканей промежности, позволило достигнуть максимальной комплаентности во время лечения и добиться не только клинического, но и патогенетического эффекта.</p></trans-abstract><kwd-group xml:lang="en"><kwd>atrophic vaginitis</kwd><kwd>cancer of the female reproductive system</kwd><kwd>vaginal dryness</kwd><kwd>dyspareunia</kwd><kwd>vaginal estrogen</kwd><kwd>ovarian insufficiency</kwd><kwd>endocrine therapy</kwd><kwd>non-hormonal vaginal therapy</kwd></kwd-group><kwd-group xml:lang="ru"><kwd>атрофический вагинит</kwd><kwd>рак органов женской репродуктивной системы</kwd><kwd>сухость влагалища</kwd><kwd>диспареуния</kwd><kwd>вагинальный эстроген</kwd><kwd>недостаточность яичников</kwd><kwd>эндокринная терапия</kwd><kwd>негормональная вагинальная терапия</kwd></kwd-group><funding-group/></article-meta></front><body></body><back><ref-list><ref id="B1"><label>1.</label><mixed-citation>Tan O., Bradshaw K., Carr B.R.
