In this paper we review papers concerning incidence and surgical treatment of pelvic recurrences. A point of interest is studies evaluating completion surgery after radiotherapy/chemoradiotherapy. Surgery after definitive radiotherapy is associated with high morbidity and should be performed only in patients with residual tumor. Magnetic resonance imaging in special regimen can be useful in detecting residual disease.</p>
Поскольку оперативное вмешательство после облучения коррелирует с повышенной частотой послеоперационных осложнений, в последние годы большинство авторов высказываются в пользу выполнения гистерэктомии только при наличии остаточной опухоли, обнаружение которой также часто является сложной задачей и требует использования специальных режимов магнитно-резонансной томографии.</p></trans-abstract><kwd-group xml:lang="en"><kwd>cervical cancer</kwd><kwd>hysterectomy</kwd><kwd>residual disease</kwd><kwd>recurrence</kwd></kwd-group><kwd-group xml:lang="ru"><kwd>рак шейки матки</kwd><kwd>гистерэктомия</kwd><kwd>остаточная опухоль</kwd><kwd>рецидив</kwd></kwd-group><funding-group/></article-meta></front><body></body><back><ref-list><ref id="B1"><label>1.</label><citation-alternatives><mixed-citation xml:lang="en">Guskova E.A., Nerodo G.A., Guskova N.K. et al.
