We studied main matrix metalloproteinases (MMP) and their tissue inhibitors in tumors and blood serum of ovarian cancer, benign and borderline tumor patients. We revealed a coordinate increase of MMP-7 tumor expression and serum concentration in ovarian cancer that indicates it’s role as potential serological marker for ovarian cancer.

В опухолевой ткани и сыворотке крови больных раком, пациенток с пограничными и доброкачественными новообразованиями яич- ников исследован спектр основных матриксных металлопротеиназ (ММП) и их тканевых ингибиторов. В результате проведенного исследования выявлено координированное увеличение тканевой экспрессии и сывороточной концентрации ММП-7 при раке яичников, нарастающее по мере распространения заболевания, что позволяет рассматривать ММП-7 в качестве потенциально значимого серологического маркера рака яичников.
